About University of Mumbai
Established in 1857, the University of Mumbai is one of the first three universities established in India and the oldest in Maharashtra. Located in the financial capital of India, the university has played a pivotal role in the development of higher education in the country for over 160 years.

Our historic Fort Campus houses the administrative offices and several postgraduate departments, while the newer Vidyanagari Campus in Santacruz (East) accommodates most of the university's science and technology departments, providing state-of-the-art facilities for research and learning.
